There have been many rumors that state having a vegetarian or vegan diet can cause infertility, problems in the womb, or miscarriages.  These rumors are simply not true!  One of the BEST things you can do to increase your chances of conception is to switch your diet to a healthier, cleaner and more natural diet. There is a lot of talk about how diet can improve the chances of you having a baby. But the problem is that there has been a lot of bad talk that the vegan and the vegetarian diet is not good for you. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Bottom line, if you want to get healthy and have a healthy pregnancy you have to eat “clean” .

Tip 1, Getting Enough Nutrients

Vegetarians and Vegans have an advantage over people who eat meat, because they do not digest all the harmful hormones, toxins, and heavy metals that are in most meat products. Remember though, people that eat these type of diets need to make sure they have plenty of foliate, Vitamin B6, and B12 in their diet to stay healthy. Tip 5, Raw and Organic Foods

You should eat plenty of raw, organic fruits and vegetables! If you decide to cook your food you will void any enzymes that are in tack in Raw foods. You will also reduce the amount of vitamins and minerals that are available to you when you cook your food. I suggest you eat healthy organic raw foods that are rich in nutrition. Tip 6, Water Intake

Water intake is very important for many processes within the body.  That includes conception! It helps with sperm motility and detoxification, aids in cell regeneration and helps your body break down nutrients in your bowls. You should be drinking at least six to eight glasses of water a day.  A good indicator that you are drinking enough water is that your urine should be clear.  If it is brown, dark yellow or cloudy, you probably are not drinking enough!

Tip 7, Soy Intake

It is very beneficial to limit your soy intake; soy generally has hormone mimicking effects that can disrupt the normal functioning of your body. Soy is also genetically modified; consider instead consume alternatives to soy products.

Changing your diet is a wonderful choice to increase your chances of conception.  Not only will your body become stronger, more energized and overall, healthier, but your chances of conception will also increase.  Always talk to your health care provider, FIRST, prior to changing your diet.  Be safe, be smart, and be healthy!
